I have 2 linked WebCombo.
Records of WebCombo1 is queried from database
Records of WebCombo2 value is queried from database and populated based on selection in WebCombo1.
Both WebCombo is autopostback.
After record in WebCombo1 & WebCombo2 is selected, the page will be post back.
After post back, when i click on WebCombo2 (records of WebCombo1 & WebCombo2 is still there), i hit error "Root element is missing".
Pls advise.
I created a test page based on your scenario and was unable to repro the issue.
The test page is enclosed as attachment. Please have the test page tested on your end and let me know if there is something that I miss. Please modify the sample so that it repros the issue and have the sample send back to us for further investigation.
*a step-by-step to reproduce the issue is needed as well.
