I am having problems scanning for updates using the Update Manager (see attached). I am running Windows 7 (64). I am logged in with Admin rights.
Not sure where to find the .NET Framework Configuration tool.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried to "Run as administrator" when running the update manager? Or try to turn off your UAC before running the Update Manager.

John, do you have UAC turned off already? Also, you can try to launch the application as admin (right click on the program then click Run as Administrator).
I'm using Windows 7 x64 as well, and can run Update Manager just fine.
Thanks Gordon and James - the 'Run as Administrator' did it. I thought by being logged in as user with Admin rights was good enough.
