Hello,

I am seeking desperate help.  I've been having this problem for multiple months and nobody is able to offer a solution.  I can reproduce this error on any Server 2008 box, and don't understand how others are not getting this error.

When trying to install the WebUI Studio .NET to a fresh installation of Server 2008, the installation fails.  It warns me that I do not have the .NET Framework 2.0 or higher installed, and therefore cannot proceed.  Despite this, I most certainly do have the .NET frame work installed -- my server is configured as an application server with IIS w/ASP.NET support, and the ASP.NET Framework 3.5.1 Feature enabled.

Support keeps telling me that perhaps I installed the "wrong version of the framework", and other suggestions that aren't helpful.  The suggestions are especially not helpful because you can't even install the .NET framework using the Microsoft 3.5 Installation executable in Server 2008.  It must be added using Role Management, and the "Add Feature" function.

I've searched for solutions and have found none.   I've tried all different variations:  Installing IIS first, not installing IIS, Using VS2010 with ASP.NET 4.0, and all different variations of the above.  I've seen posts telling me to be sure the IIS Management Console is installed, and that support for IIS 6 is enabled.... done and done.

Nothing gets me past this issue.

PLEASE HELP.  Thank you in advance!
