Hello Crosslight Support,
I have a strange problem with the local notification service on iOS.
I schedule a local notification in my custom app the same way as in the services sample. In the services sample, I receive the notification within the scheduled 5 seconds. In my app I receive the notification two hours later (schedule time: DateTime.Now.AddSeconds(5)). I cannot find out why.
After the two hours the app is closed. So I am in the notification center and click on the notification. My app starts and crashes after showing the splash screen instead of navigation to a certain view.
Do you have any advice for this?
Thanks,
Thomas
Hi Thomas,It shouldn't be happened, if you are using our samples did the bug also happen?
Hello Arief,
as I initially wrote, the local notification works in the services sample but not in my custom app. That's why it seems strange to me.
Do you need a sample to reproduce the problem?
Hi Thomas,Please note if you want to use the local notification in your custom Apps (for example you made it from blank samples), there are some steps need to be done including registering to apple first. You can see it in the video inside this link: http://developer.intersoftpt.com/display/crosslight/Handling+Push+Notifications.
