I tried to replicate your issue used code above but it's run correctly without any error on my end.
Would you explain me how to reproduce this issue ?

All i did was drop the control on to a blank usercontrol in blend 4 and then i try to manual add a control to the items collection thought blend properties section and then i get the error.

If i change the control to a uxdesktopdock then it works fine , is there any differents between the desktop and dock . Do i need to try and reinstall the toolkit

Your sample works fine here. I also try to add UXDockButton by drag the control and by add UXDock item collection. I attached a video snapshot how I add the control. Is it possible for you to check am I missing something in adding the control there?

For your information, I use ClientUI 5, how about you ?

The UXDock control is used for multi-purpose navigation control such as navigating to a particular page when the dock button is clicked. It does not matter with a trial version. Would you please let me know what is your UXDock build version and the datetime of its assembly? Maybe we've run program in different build or assembly.

I captured my assembly for your sample. Is it possible for you to capture yours ?

I found out that my version is different from yours . Mine is 5.0.5000.1

Where do i get your version of uxdock

Hi Lee,

To get the latest version, you have to use Update Manager in Intersoft folder. Then, you can scan for updates and download the latest version.
Note: ensure that you have close visual studio before using update manager.

Would you please let me know whether it is works fine or not after you get a latest version ?

I am having a similar problem. I viewed my version, and it was  5.0.5000.1 as well.

When I tried to use the updater, it said I had the most current version.

I replicated the issue in 5.0.5000.1, but I forgot that my environment is a nightly build 2 which is unreleased product. In build 2, the issue is already fix, but our developer still update this build.

I'm so sorry with this incident.
