Hi Yixin,
No, you also could not change it into GUID. We have not supported GUID yet.
As far I know, ResourceID also is auto increment (identity). So some type such as char, could not use as identity. That is the reason. Hope this clear enough for you.

You could not change it, except into decimal and double.
