Please try to set the value of Color property of LineStyle to a value that has the same color with the background. For example, if the background has white color then tries to to set the color to “255, 255, 255”.

<ChartSettings>
    <YAxis>
        <MajorGridStyle>
            <LineStyle Color="255, 255, 255"/>
        </MajorGridStyle>
    </YAxis>
</ChartSettings>
