thank you for your answer.

I think "Self reference" isn't applicable to my sketch. I don't really have one parent and children with the same data (columns) to display. In other words, I can't display one parent with all columns populated and 2 children with only 3 columns filled.

The possibility is to display all the data of second and third row without span, but it's not optimal.

Should you have any other suggestion it will be welcome !

Webgrid 7 Columns set => Create conditionnal column set

Your scenario is not suitable to be implemented with “Column Set” feature of WebGrid. I suggest you to render the data on second and third row completely, without span them.

If you have parent-child relation in a table, maybe you can consider the “Self Reference” feature of WebGrid.

Hope this help.

Webgrid 7 Columns set => Create conditionnal column set

Hello,

Here is a sample of what we want (only Excel 2007 format is allowed to upload, so I did a screenshot...)

2nd and 3rd row have the same parent, so we display parent 30250 (and date and 2 last columns) only once.

Best Regards,

Webgrid 7 Columns set => Create conditionnal column set

Could you please send us the sketch layout of the grid that you require in Excell file (include two or more dummy rows)?
I’ll try to check the feasibility to implement it in WebGrid.

Webgrid 7 Columns set => Create conditionnal column set

Hello Yudi,

Ok. So I'll need to do a rowspan or something like this...?

Webgrid 7 Columns set => Create conditionnal column set

It is not possible to have ColumnSet WebGrid layout with such condition, first row without columnset and another rows with columnset enabled.

Please let me know if you have different scenario.

Webgrid 7 Columns set => Create conditionnal column set

Hello,

I found this great how to in order to create column set programmatically.

http://support.intersoftpt.com/docs/webgrid/5.0.7200/Create%20ColumnSet%20layout%20programmatically.html

I'm wondering if it is possible to do it with conditions.

I mean :

- one first row without column set (or disabled?),

- the second row splited at column 3 in two rows (using column sets..)

If it's possible, do you have a sample doing that?

I thank you in advance,

Regards
