I think it has been fixed in our latest hotfix. Please update your assemblies and please let me know if this issue still occurs in your local end. Hope this helps.

Hi Oliver,

I can replicate your issue in here. Maybe there's regression in WebGrid that make this issue happen. This issue only happen if grouping is defined in initialize state. I have added this issue as Work Item #1560. I will let you know any news regarding this work item. Thank you for your valuable feedback.

Thank you for your reply. I attached a website that replicate this issue. This is actually simplified Intersoft sample and behaves same as our website. As you can see, doctype and RenderingMode is HTML5.

Hi Oliver,

Actually, this matter doesn't happen in our local end using HTML5 doctype and our new WebGrid version. The GroupBox rendered correctly in IE10 in standard document mode without using compatibility mode. However, our control is not designed for compatibility mode because it will request the browser to render in old rendering method. Maybe if possible, could you give me a simple sample to replicate this issue in our local end or steps to replicate this issue? It will help us to resolve this issue because I need to trace where the problem comes from. I also attach my screenshot here. Look forward to hear any feedback from you so I can help you further.

Thank you for your reply. I can only make it work, if I'm using compatibility mode which is not desired solution for us.

I set doctype to html and webgid doctype to HTML5 on Grid example and it doesn't fix rendering unless I turn compatibility mode on! basically the only way I can fix this issue is having IE Document Mode= IE7.

Is this the same behaviour you have or do you see any other reason for it?

Hi,

IE10 dispositions rows in grids with grouping if all rows are collapsed. This is the very same issue reported on this thread:

I applied the latest hotfix (WebGridNET8_0_7200_254) as described on "http://www.intersoftpt.com/Build/ApplyHotfix - Apply WebGrid hotfix" but it didn't help.

I also tried it on Intersoft Webgrid tutorial (for "Intersoft Solutions\Intersoft WebUI Studio 2012 R2\Tutorials\cs\WebGrid\V4.0\CustomGroupRowText.aspx") and didn't work there either.

I wonder if anyone try this update for same issue or any steps is not documented.
