Since ASP.NET 1.1 is not included in IIS 7.5, you need to downloaded and installed manually.

The article in http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/472/how-to-install-aspnet-11-with-iis-on-vista-and-windows-2008/ shows how to install ASP.NET 1.1 with IIS 7 on Vista and Windows 2008. Things might a bit different on the other Windows operating system that has IIS 7.5 but almost similar.

The main part is installation of .NET Framework Version 1.1 Service Pack 1 and then installation of ASP.NET Security Update for .NET Framework 1.1 SP1.

Hope this helps.

webcombo 2.0 and MS Server 2008 (IIS 7.0)

Hi,

I have a big issue with the webcombo 2.0.

We have had a system set up on windows server 2003 with IIS 6.0. On that configuration everything worked OK.

Now we have moved the application to windows server 2008 R2. On this system we have IIS 7.5 and with the following sytem webCombmo 2.0 is not working any more. I get the error: Object expected.

I would like to know, if anyone have had such a problem and what is the solution.

I have to mention that we have old application written in MS.NET 1.1. and in VS 2003. We also do not want to update the webcombo 2.0 to newer one as this product is no longer being developed.

It is quite urgent as we have couple of customers that cannot work with the application.

Thank you
