All rights reserved.</copyright><ttl>60</ttl><item><title>Can't Install on Server 2008 64 bit : Error that .NET Framework is not installed when it is</title><link>http://www.intersoftsolutions.com/Community/Tags/Installation/</link><pubDate>Thu, 18 Mar 2010 13:46:48 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>alex@millhorn.com</dc:creator><category>WebDesktop</category><category>WebUI Studio</category><category>Installation</category><category>Server 2008</category><category>64 bit</category><category>Setup</category><description>Hello,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am seeking desperate help.&amp;nbsp; I've been having this problem for multiple months and nobody is able to offer a solution.&amp;nbsp; I can reproduce this error on any Server 2008 box, and don't understand how others are not getting this error.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When trying to install the WebUI Studio .NET to a fresh installation of Server 2008, the installation fails.&amp;nbsp; It warns me that I do not have the .NET Framework 2.0 or higher installed, and therefore cannot proceed.&amp;nbsp; Despite this, I most certainly do have the .NET frame work installed -- my server is configured as an application server with IIS w/ASP.NET support, and the ASP.NET Framework 3.5.1 Feature enabled.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Support keeps telling me that perhaps I installed the "wrong version of the framework", and other suggestions that aren't helpful.&amp;nbsp; The suggestions are especially not helpful because you can't even install the .NET framework using the Microsoft 3.5 Installation executable in Server 2008.&amp;nbsp; It must be added using Role Management, and the "Add Feature" function.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've searched for solutions and have found none.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I've tried all different variations:&amp;nbsp; Installing IIS first, not installing IIS, Using VS2010 with ASP.NET 4.0, and all different variations of the above.&amp;nbsp; I've seen posts telling me to be sure the IIS Management Console is installed, and that support for IIS 6 is enabled.... done and done.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nothing gets me past this issue.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;PLEASE HELP.&amp;nbsp; Thank you in advance!&lt;br /&gt;</description></item><item><title>Unable To Change Folder Path For WebUI Studio 2009 Installation</title><link>http://www.intersoftsolutions.com/Community/Tags/Installation/</link><pubDate>Mon, 12 Oct 2009 12:57:38 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>PRISMAY</dc:creator><category>Installation</category><description>&lt;p&gt;I'm in the process of installing WebUI Studio 2009 R1 SP1 and it does not allow me to change the target location, i.e., Folder Path.  Why am I forced to install this on the C drive?&lt;/p&gt;
