Webgrid databinding causing blank screen

Hey,

I have a page where there is only 1 webgrid. When the page loads I get a blank white screen. This only happens sometimes, but when it happens the logs show the following exception:

I checked the data to make sure there might be something there but that looks fine. The weird thing is I only get this error sometimes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Error when creating a new Crosslight 2 project

After installing I get this error when creating a crosslight 2.0 project in Visual Studio.

I tried repairing the installation and still get the same result. Where do I find the logs and do I need to additional changes to get the new project to work?

UXGridView throws error when adding columns.

I have a page where I added a UXGridView. But when I try to add columns using Blend, I get a "object reference not set to an instance of an object" error. If I add the column directly in XAML, the error moves to the column.

selectedRow.Update() Exception

I am attempting to set some default values on the client side when a new row is added to a bound WebGrid. However, when I update the row I get an error message. The cell and DB column behind, that I am writing to, is a string. If I type in the very same string, rather than setting it in the script, it works. The exception occurs during selectedRow.Update().
