Sorry, I have an additional question.

After I copied the templates, I can see the project templates. Thanks for solution.

If I click on Add | New Item, I can not see the Intersoft Items. Where can I find the Item Templates? The folder C:\Users\[local administrator]\My Documents\Visual Studio 2010\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual C# is empty!

Hi Michael,

You were unable to see the templates because it was installed in local administrator's document.
If you have to work in domain user, you don't have to reinstall VS and WebUI in the domain user. But, you should copy the template on local administrator's document to the domain user's document.
The templates should be on this path :

C:\Users\[local administrator]\My Documents\Visual Studio 2010\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#[or Visual Basic]

Then you have to copy the templates from [local administrator] to [Your domain user].

You can also get the templates from here.

You've misunderstood me.

The installation on the local administrator was only a test. I wanted to test it, if I see the templates.

I have to work with my domain user, but the templates are not visible. Not even, if I install WebUI under the domain user!

Do I also reinstall VS 2010 with the domain user?

What I did (to repeat):
1. VS2010 installed as a local administrator
2. WebUI installed as a domain user -> templates are not visible
3. WebUI uninstalled
4. WebUI installed as a local administrator -> Templates are visible (only a test - but I can not work as a local administrator!)

What is the recommended installation procedure?

Hi Michael,

You didn't do a mistake to install WebUI as a local administrator so far.

The warning appears because there is no choice to run our sample as a local administrator.
Please follow these steps to remove the warning (for win7):

Open control panel.
Choose User Accounts.
Select Change User Account Control settings.
Set the bar to never notify.

Please let me know - do you see the templates ? after you follow steps above.

Hi Riendy

I get the installer from the Developer Network.

I've spoken with the administrator. He has VS2010 installed as a local administrator. I have installed WebUI as domain user (run as administrator).

If I install WebUI also a local administrator, then I see the templates. But I do not see the templates, if I logon as domain user. I must work as domain user...

Which account should I use to install WebUI? What do you recommend me?

I always get a warning (see attached file) when I open a VS2010 sample, e.g. WebUI Studio for Silverlight | Development Samples | Business Application

Hello Michael,

Where did you get the installer ?
I hope that you got the same installer with the following link:

WebUI Studio 2011 R1 SP1 Premier Full Setup - Choose this setup for complete features installation and convenience installation on multiple computers. (658 MB exe File. Updated on 6/16/2011)
WebUI Studio 2011 R1 SP1 Premier Web Setup (Recommended) - Choose this setup for customized edition/products/features installation. Web Setup downloads only necessary files based on your selection on demand — significantly minimizing your download time. (3.84 MB exe File. Updated on 6/16/2011)

After you get a new installer from a link above, please uninstall ideablade's and our product, and clear intersoft's and ideablade's registry. After that, you can install WebUI studio 2011 R1 SP1.
Please let me know if our template still doesn't exist in VS2010.

I have installed webuistudio2011sp1.exe. When I start VS2010 | New Project I can not find any Intersoft Templates. Even a restart did not help.
