Will there ever be a Crosslight 6?

I am trying to get an answer to this question for almost 3 months now. I have written countless mails to Intersoft where I asked about the next release date of Crosslight and about a roadmap for Crosslight.

I never got a binding answer. It sounded always like "we will pass your question over to the dev team and let you know".

Does anybody have information about the future of Crosslight? It would be nice to share it in this post.

I really like developing with Crosslight, but the support is inexistent for weeks now. Reproducable bugs are not fixed and there is no official statement about future release. I wonder if I should hold on to develop new apps with Crosslight.

I would really appreciated to hear something from fellow Crosslight devs or get a binding statement from Intersoft.

Thanks,

Thomas

Crosslight 5 iOS RootView within RootView

Hello Crosslight Support,

I have ported an existing app from Crosslight 4 to Crosslight 5. The app has a special behaviour. It starts with a drawer navigation. Doing a button click in one of the views, I navigate to a nested drawer navigation and the navigation drawer changes to the nested drawer.

Both DrawerViewControllers have the attribute [RegisterNavigation(IsRootView = true)].

In Crosslight 4 this works perfect. In Crosslight 5 I get an error message when navigating to the nested drawer.

It just says System.NullReferenceException (System.Collections.ListDictionaryInternal).

Please investigate and fix asap. I have a recyclerviewfragment where I add a custom command in the contextual toolbar. After executing this command the view stays in edit mode. The IsEditing variable in the ViewModel is false, but as said the view stays in edit mode.

When I compare this to a built in command like Delete it behaves different. After deleting a list item the view is no longer in edit mode. I cannot see any command that switches the view modes, so I guess it is done behind the scenes.

How can I fix this?

Thanks,
Thomas

Crosslight Form Builder iOS Tablet

Hello Crosslight Support,

there are some layout problems with the Crosslight form builder on iOS tablets.

In general the layout on an iPad Pro looks wired.
