Hello Dave,

About the BackstageView issue, it is issue in the pop-up menu. The border should be correct. For the left, bottom and right, actually they are already correct by showing no border. They are just showing larger than the window size, so they overlapped the left,bottom and right border of the content. That's why it looks cut in there.
This issue would be fixed in February hotfixes release. We will try to render it smoothly like in Silverlight.

I saw that the UXRibbonButton issue is now fixed, however the BackstageView issue is still not.
Any ETA regarding this?

FYI, It is NOT fixed yet with latest 2012 R2 version. This bug has been here since the 1st time Ribbon was introduced.

I'm reopening this thread since it also happens when manually creating the Ribbon.
The RibbonButtons I manually added are not shown correctly (cropped from the right), and the BackstageView is also not properly displayed (a bit bigger and one pixel to the bottom and like 2 pixel to the right).

So, in summary, is not only with the template.

Hello Dave,

It should be fixed in the next version of ClientUI. If you are subscription customer, you would be able to get our latest product once we released a new product.

Thank you for letting us know about it. Would we be expecting the fix in a next version or through build-in update?

Since it's the template, are we able to create a ribbon app without the issue (not through template)? I just want to confirm.

I just wanted to reconfirm about the issue. After we further investigate the issue, it's true that we need to fix in our RibbonTemplate. However, the problem is locked down in control level which need fix by our developer teams. So, we could not deliver it for you unless it has been fixed.

I can replicate the issue in here. FYI, it seems problems only in template sample, not in the UXRibbon itself. We need to customize the style so it can show properly.

Hi,

I'm seen this particular UI issue with the UXRibbonButton and with the UXRibbonGalleryItem.

With the UXRibbonButton it happens when is the last item from a UXRibbonTabGroup. As you can see in the attached image, it is cropped from the right.

With the UXRibbonGalleryItem, as seen in the 2nd attached image, it is cropped from the bottom.

Is not that much, but I'm a person which also focus on the small details, and this is one of the details that I cannot let pass.

Could you provide, please, a fix for this UI issue?
