I apologize for any inconvenience this problem may have caused you. I have forwarded the issues to UXGridView development team. The issues are filed under work item #1075.

I abandoned the grid but have decided to come back to it because of some new requirements. Nothing has changed. I am on the latest version. I even loaded the samples project, tried to add a UXGridViewTemplateColumn to the UXGridView directly in the XAML in Blend. As soon as I add the column I get an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

I really thought this would be fixed in this version. Apparently not. It looks like it is time to dump this control and look for a solution with another vendor. I don't have time to mess with a supposed professional control that can't even work as well as the out of the box standard SL control.

I have forwarded your feedback to the UXGridView development team for further investigation. In the meantime, please try to add the columns of UXGridView in the xaml view of Blend or Visual Studio.

I’ll keep you updated with any news I heard from the team regarding this.

I have a page where I added a UXGridView. But when I try to add columns using Blend, I get a "object reference not set to an instance of an object" error. If I add the column directly in XAML, the error moves to the column.
