yes I would like its priority raised. I asked about this about a year ago.

It is standard practice that different users of an application may want to show/hide different columns in a grid (as well as column order/size etc) - in order to do this the size, visibility properties (as well as others) of grid columns need to be able to bind to the view model - and the next logical step is to be able to save those settings on a application or user level (to an underlying database for example).

Your competitors have Silverlight grids that do this - and I am surprised that I have to explain this functionality to you. I can supply links to grids that show this functionality if you wish. Hope this can be done soon, thanks for your efforts.

Regards

Richard

Please feel free to let us know if you wanted to raise the priority. And if so, why?

I need it to investigate your issue. In our current UXGridView sample, it resizes correctly.
Regarding about Save and Load layout. I will need to collaborate with our developer teams. If we manage to provide a sample for this scenario, I will send it to you.

Regards,
Handy

have mentioned these issuea before and was told back in Dec 2010 that it would be available in new realeases. Can you please advise on issues below (attached screenshot shows clearly my issues).

1) As the browser is resized the grid resizes horizontally but not vertically - how to I overcome this?

2) As the grid resizes horizontally the columns do not resize

You can see an example of how this works well here (add/remove columns and exiting columns resize)

http://demos.devexpress.com/democenter/Silverlight/?GridDemo/#Column_Customization

3) The ability to save and load the grid layout so that different users have different views/layouts.

Thanks.

Regard

Richard
