Hello,

It seems the issue occurs due to there is incorrect code while trying to passing parameter to the “Insert” function.

For example in “EventOrganizer.cs” page, in Line 64, I modify the code by deleting one parameter.
From:

this.Insert(ResourceName, ResourceDescription, ResourceColor)

To:

this.Insert(ResourceName, ResourceDescription)

After I modified the code, I got the similar error message (WebSheduler_OverloadMethod.png). So please kindly, you have passed the correct parameter to the “Insert” function.

NB: Since this issue has a different topic from the main topic “Change Color”, please kindly re-create the new thread/post to discuss regarding this issue.

Hello,

I followed the steps to add a custom field, but i keep having an error in the insert function from all the classes (ResourcesTableAdapter, etc.) : "No overload for method 'insert' takes 3 arguments". Do you know what is wrong with it?

Do you know how can I add / save the custom / additional field, except for manually.

Basically, you could find the “EventOrganizer.cs” page in WebScheduler Samples Solution.

If you have installed Intersoft Premier Studio in your local end, you could find under:
“[Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\Intersoft Premier Studio 2014 R1\Samples\For ASP.NET\ISNet.WebUI.Samples\cs\WebScheduler\App_Code\”

I attached the “EventOrganizer.cs” page as well.

Hello,

There is a feature in WebScheduler to add custom or additional field to your event.
You could see the example from one of WebScheduler Samples Solution, “EventOrganizer.aspx” page.
Please kindly have review on the page to see how it works.

Once you could add / save the custom / additional field, you could add validation code in “OnEventBound” client side event.

I create the example validation code based on EventOrganizer.aspx page.
I modify the event color if the “TotalAttendees” field has a specific value. Here’s the example snippet code:

Thank you. Your answer was very helpful. Do you know how can i keep the color of the event in database. For example, when i load the page the color that was changed by the click to be different then the resource color?

Hello!

Is it possible to change colour of an event by double clicking on that event. Or when I double click an event, make some validation and after change the colour of the event? The colour will be other than the resource colour.
