Webinput 4.0 removing decimals

A sample is enclosed as attachment of this post. The sample file was made based on the snippet code shown in the initial message of this thread.

I re-test the issue using WebInput 4 build 130 and WebUI.NET Framework 3 build 803. The test uses following step-by-step.

View the sample in browser.
Try to enter a decimal value, for example: 3,14.
Do PostBack.
After Postback, the Text property of “wiPenaltyInterestRate” will show the text entered into “WebInput2”.

The test result shows that the reported problem has been solved. Should you have different result, please feel free to let us know.

I am having a similar issue when attempting to set the cutltureinfo on the webinput control. Was this issue ever resolved for you?

Hi Riendy,

Thank you for getting back to me. I hope you understand that using a different culture setting will not be acceptable to my end users, as the component is used in a financial application and using the wrong culture setting will have a negative impact on useability.

I have raised the culture issue with your support before, but it seems that you politely forgot about fixing it. As I have renewed my subscription with you, against better judgement, I do expect to recieve a timely solution to this very fundamental issue.

Hi Christian,

I have replicated your issue. Unfortunately, a simple solution for now just using the other culture (i.e: en-AU) just like you did before. Or still use sv-SE but you can't edit its DisplayFormat (set IsEnabled="False").

I have forwarded this issue to our development team for the further investigated.

Hi, I am experiencing an issue with WebInput 4.0 when using comma (,) as a decimal separator. I have tried with Danish (da-DK) and Swedish (sv-SE) locale, and both are displaying the same issue. I have tried to set the locale directly on the component as well as through web.config, this had no effect.

The issue is that when entering a decimal number, the decimals are replaced with zeroes and the separator is replaces with a dot (.). Please see attached file. All input boxes were loaded with values on pageload and all looked correct. After changing the value of the third input box to 4,44 (the format looks correct while in edit mode), the value displayed is 4 .00.

I use WebFlyPostBackManager to call a save function. When calling this function and accessing the value of the changed input box, the value is now nothing. If I use en-AU as locale everything works as expected. I declare the input box as per below:
