&lt;p&gt;Yes, although you can convert a project in VS2003 into VS2008, you will get the error because it was our old product which you're currently using. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Old products which run in VS2003 only work under .Net Framework 1.1 environment and will not work under .Net Framework 2.0 or higher environment. &lt;br /&gt;To run in higher .Net framework environment, I suggest you to upgrade the product. &lt;/p&gt;
