The default value of asynchronous call time-out is 60 seconds, which is configurable in ‘TimeoutInterval’ property. You can handle the time-out event by handling the OnTimeout client-side event.

TimeoutInterval property is used to gets or sets the value to indicate a timeout interval for a specified request (in seconds). The value type is ‘integer’.

I was unable to repro any timeout error in Internet Explorer 8.0 or in Mozilla Firefox 3.6.3. should you have any running simple sample that replicates the issue, it would be much helpful if you could send the sample to be investigated further.

HI,

Can I know what are the values allowed for TimeoutInterval attribute for FlyPostBackSettings. I am getting timeout error for some of the process. However when I specify the value as -1 it works fine with Internet Explorer, but Firefox does not work with this value. Whether the value specified is in seconds or milliseconds?
