In WebCombo 4, you can set initial WebCombo value from server side by setting WebCombo’s value property (as shown below).

WebCombo1.Value = "ANTON";

Initiating WebCombo value from server side can only be done by using value property not the row index.

Please let us know whether this helps or not. If this doesn’t help, could you please kindly attach a simple sample of your WebCombo? We need to check your code in data binding process.

Hi,

How can i set selected value for WebCombo during data binding? For example during data binding, i do a checking, when the condition meets, i want to set the current record (let say current record during data binding is record #5) to become selected when the WebCombo is displayed. How to do that?
