Hi Bernard,

Thanks for the suggestion to use Normal on the ResultBoxWindowType property. However, I noticed that the issue still happens although not as frequent as when the webcombo was set to use Popup.

In line with this, is there an estimated time on when a fix will be provided by the development team?

Hi Art,

I’ve tried to check your issue here. This issue can be reproduce in our local end and it will be forwarded to our development team. I will let you know any news I hear from the team regarding this problem.

Temporarily, you can use Normal value as ResultBoxWindowType property’s value. It’s recommended to use Normal value on WebCombo’s ResultBoxWindowType property in the future because pop up only supported in IE browser.

I noticed that when the WebCombo expands and is still loading its contents and it loses focus (like when you switch tabs from within the same browser window), the WebCombo becomes collapsed when you return but will now be unable to expand.

I first noticed this on our application but I was able to recreate it on the WebCombo sample link as well.

Steps to recreate:

From the link above, click the pulldown button of the first dropdown control (the one with WindowType = Popup)
While the list expands and loads, quickly click on another tab. (I use IE9)
When you get back to the InterSoft sample tab, the control should now be collapsed and won't expand when the pulldown button is clicked or even when a text is typed in directly.

Note: As the load time of the list increases, sometimes even moving focus to other controls within the same page would trigger this behavior.

Is there a way to fix this?
