This seems to be an issue in Silverlight's own rendering, when the Effect is applied on the of container which already has an Effect.

We'll enhance the UXComboBox in the next build to allow the control to have the Effect without causing the blurry problem.

Hope this helps,
Jimmy

UXComboBox Blurry/Fuzzy?

Sorry, I should have included that :) It's a Silverlight 4 application.

There are specific settings that you can try, but these settings are different based on the platform.

I'm currently evaluating ClientUI for purchase. I'm trying to use the UXComboBox in a UXDialogBox, however the items (when dropped down) are blurry/fuzzy. Actually the rendering of the entire drop-down portion is blurry (borders included). The combo box itself when an item is selected (not dropped-down) looks just fine. Any ideas what might cause this or if there's a rendering setting that I need to change? I'm using UXComboBox in other UXPage's and there they seem to render just fine. I have also tried changing fonts, font sizes and the TextOptions.TextHintingMode.

Thanks,
