We see that the repackaging is unavoidable because many of the Aqua controls have been redesigned from the groundup to take advantage of new architecture to support greater extensibility using Silverlight and WPF best-practice development.

The issues that you encountered in WebAqua 2.0 are mostly limitation in terms of architectural and fundamental features thus can't be effectively fixed. Many of the new Aqua lineups in ClientUI have been rebuilt from scratch which naturally addressed most of the issues existed in its predecessor.

If you owned an active Silverlight subscription or a Premier subscription, you're entitled to get ClientUI 2010 free of charge. If not, you can renew the subscription with very affordable pricing. If you don't own any subscriptions, we'll make available an upgrade path to ClientUI 2010 with very competitive pricing.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you and have a nice day!
Future of WebAqua and Licensing...

Just installed the 2010 R1 WebUI Studio for Silverlight. One glaring development is that the WebAqua 2.0 controls have been consumed and repackaged into "Client UI 2010". Many of the shortcomings and bugs that have been reported here have been fixed in the Client UI assemblies, but never a hotfix released to fix the same issues in the existing WebAqua assemblies.

Given all this, what is the licensing situation for WebAqua 2.0 license owners to use the "Fixed Contols" that are now exist in the product called "Client UI 2010"?
