When I set webgrid with a different cultureinfo setting, the data being returned from a webservice is not being displayed correctly in the grid.
Do I need to handle the formatting for all data returned or should the grid handle the display according to the datatype and format string I assigned when I set up the grid?
I am working on a sample (using your tutorial code), but have been unable to get a simple web service to work.

About the issue that you mentioned above, this problematic behaviour has been resolved in WebGrid 8 build 101. You can also update your WebGrid hotfix via Update Manager to get the latest WebGrid.

I can replicate your issue in our local end. I've submitted this issue to our developer team and they said they will add this fix to our next release. Thank you for your valueable feedback.
