Hi,
How do I disable the default option of "Add or Remove Buttons" which is present no the right side of the WebToolbar? I see there is a property AllowCustomize
However this does not affect the "Add or Remove Buttons" feature.
Thanks
Hello,
When you set AllowCustomize to No, the "Add or Remove Buttons" will be disabled.
<ISWebDesktop:WebToolBar runat="server" Width="100%" NewIsFloat="Default" IsFloat="no" HeaderHeight="" NewDockingArea="NotSet" NewDockingRow="0" Caption="WebToolBar1" PlaceHolder="PlaceHolderManager1" DockingArea="Top" CommandSize="" ID="WebToolBar1" AllowCustomize="No" IntegratedTo="None">
Thank you.
Hi Martin,
We are using WebDesktop.Net V2.5.2007.217 and WebUI.NETFramework V3.0.5000.705.
Setting AllowCustomize to No does not disable Add or Remove Buttons -> WebToolbar1button, it only disables Add or Remove Buttons -> Customize button.
Regards
Michael
Can you advise if I can accomplish the above i.e. disable Add or Remove Buttons -> WebToolbar1button using versions WebDesktop.Net V2.5.2007.217 and WebUI.NETFramework V3.0.5000.705. please?
Hello Michael,
Unfortunately, the behavior happens on my end is different with yours. When I set AllowCustomize to No, it will totally disable the Add or Remove Buttons. You can't even click the arrow to open the context menu. This is the default behavior of WebToolBar when you set AllowCustomize to No.
I have used the same build of WebDesktop as yours. Could you try to set AllowCustomize to No in one of our WebDesktop sample and see how it goes?
Have you upgraded the hotfix build to the latest one using Update Manager?
