Hello,

thanks for the Android sample. Unfortunately, I could not get it to work in my environment.

I downloaded the sample from the given location and I added Crosslight 2 Update 5 (2_0_5000_95).

After staring the sample on a device or on the simulator I get a runtime error and the app quits.

I have installed the latest updates from Xamarin.

Attached you find the output for the error on the device and on the simulator.

I hope this helps. Any ideas welcome.

Do you have samples for iOS and WP, too?

Thanks,

Thomas

Dear Jimmy,

a working example would be great. Having this would give me a deeper understanding of Crosslight and I would have a first step in integrating Syncfusions components with Crosslight.

I hope you will find some time to create this sample soon.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

Thomas

Your post (see above):

Has an attachment "Xamarin.Android.Support.v4.rar" with the signing tool.

With "this blog entry" I meant "your post from August...".

Hello Yudi,

is this tool already final with the version attached to this blog entry or will there be another "official" version?

Thanks,

Thomas

When trying on my own, I missed the "InitializeServices" step.

Is it possible to use the "Resource.Layout.MyCustomLayout" layout in the Android project created by Crosslight? Which means, can I create resources in the custom library and use them in the Crosslight project?

Does the scenario still work when I have a custom core, too?

Thanks,

Thomas

Hello Yudi,

do you have any news about Crosslight 3 or its public roadmap?

Thanks,

Thomas

Hello Yudi,

I wonder how you test these samples. I did the same thing you described in your last post. I tested on two devices (Samsung Galaxy Phone and Tablet). On each device I get the same results. Start the sample app, wait for 5, 10, 15 seconds and nothing happens. No image changes in the list. Then I rotated the devices from portrait to landscape. With the rotation there seems to be a refresh and there you go. The image changes.

Similar results on iOS.

Please, check this again.

Thanks,

Thomas
