Yes, we have a properties that fit into your scenario. You can simply set HeaderWrapDefault to true. The cell will automatically fitting its vertical size. You can find this properties in WebGrid properties > Layout Settings > HeaderWrapDefault.

Hi Dan,

Sure you can. You can request this feature in your TDN > Community Center > Product Feedback > Feature Request. And then please don't forget to describe how this feature will be implemented. Our developer will check the possibility of this feature.

Hi Sriant,

Usually, this error is happened because of the wrong references. Could you test it by creating a new simple project and running it? If you have check that your GAC and program files has the same build version, there should be no error occur.

In order to test the new project rights, you can following this step:

- Check build version in your GAC and program files. The latest build version that has been released for 2009 R2 SP1 is 4 for WebScheduler 3 and 752 for Framework. If you have older version, please update it by using UpdateManager, or you can download it manually under My Component in your TDN account (to install into GAC manually, please don't forget to uninstall/delete it first then do 'drag and drop')

- Create a new simple project and use RegisterSmartWebResources in design view, then run the project.

If the step above working fine, in your error project please delete all of your bins and then use RegisterSmartWebResources. Also please make sure there are ISNet.dll, ISNet.WebUI.dll, and ISNet.WebUI.Resources.dll in your bins folder.

But if the step above is still return error, I need to inspect your PC, is it possible to have remote desktop session? If yes, please send the credential information about the remote session to my email julia@intersoftpt.com. I will be available from Monday - Friday at 8 AM -5 PM GMT +7.

Hi Sriant,

Have you check the bin version of WebScheduler and Framework in your project bin and window assembly (GAC) ? Both should used the same version. If they both different, you need to replace the old one with the newest. When you going to change the bin in GAC, please don't forget to uninstall it first the do 'drag and drop'.

Please let me know if you still got the same issue after do the step or not.

Hi Huzefa,

If you want to edit a column with calendar display, you can set the edit control type in WebGrid Designer > Advance > RootTable > Columns > [choose a column] > Editing. There are some calendar display editor that you can choose here, like Calendar Dropdown or Vista Calendar.

Actually we don't have any properties of time editor yet. However, you could create to setting edit type into time-based with WebInput. Please set WebInput to Masked datetime input then set the time here. After that, you can integrated it to WebGrid with the same step as calendar display above, this time choose WebInput in edit control type.

You can find this step with more detail in WebInput documentation with title "WebGrid.NET Integration", and WebGrid's documentation "Walkthrough : Using Calendar Combo".

I hope this information could helps.

Hi Sam,

To triggered server-side event from OnCellClick client-side event, you can use SendCustomRequest method. And then use InitializePostBack events to populate the textbox.

To give more detail about this, here I attach a simple sample for you. Please find attachment file name OnCellClickCustomRequest.rar. You can also find this similar step in our WebGrid's documentation "Walkthrough : Sending data to server using OnTheFlyPostBack architecture"

Hope this could help.

Julia
