URGENT: "wgui is undefined error" with WebGrid 6 on Production Server

Hi Aruna,

 

When you got "WGUI undefined" error, usually the problem is related with your assembly. Please make sure that you have:

- ISNet.dll

- ISNet.WebUI.dll

- ISNet.WebUI.Resources.dll

in your project's bin folder.

If the problem persist, could you list all dll inside your project's bin folder?

WebGrid AutoHeight

Hi Jocelyn,

You need to change :

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" >

to :

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" >

<html>

WebGrid Export

Hi Jocelyn,

 

It is exactly as Aruna said. You can set the value of PagingExport to ExportAllData. This property can be found in WebGrid's Properties\LayoutSettings\PagingExportMode. Let me know if you need more help.

Tabbing in WebDialogBox does not stay inside dialog box

Yes, it is WebDialogBox's default behavior. Right now we don't have workaround for this issue also. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately, the property cannot be set from client side. You need to use designer or server side code.

Webgrid 4.0 Resizing Issue in IE 8

Hi Daniel,


Unfortunately, we don't have testing machine for WebGrid's 4 anymore because we have stop provide support for WebGrid 4. All I can do is suggest you to set the width and the height to 100%. Also you can try to migrate to our latest version of WebGrid 7, I believe that the issue won't be occure anymore.

Possible conflict between properties set in the Designer with the ones assigned programmatically

Hi Pierre,

 

According to your need, it won't be a problem to set the properties in server-side and WebGrid's designer, but it will be better if you put it in one side (e.g server-side or designer). However, if you set the properties in both server-side and WebGrid's designer, the one that would be proceed is the server-side value.
