Thank you for the update.  We are working on the upgrade from 2010 to 2011 soon.

Great news.  Thank you.

Glad to hear.  Thanks Yudi.

Hello Handy,

Don't you think this will enhance your product and allow for better flexibility in the footer not just for our needs but also for other customers who may need to customize the footer?

Our work around works great but nonetheless, it's still hacking the HTML which means the possibility of a future breakdown if you guys change anything that affects our parsing algorithm.  We have several workarounds like this on other controls too like the WebComboBox.

Rather than having to search/replace for specific tags, text, values, etc. it would be beneficial to provide the option of adding a templated footer which seems like a reasonable approach don't you think?

I hope you can see the value in this.  Also, we have something like 15 outstanding issues we've reported of which none have been addressed and some are over a year old.  What does it take to get features impelmented and bugs fixed from actual customers using the product?  I know we push your product to it's limit under some circumstances, but workarounds are not always an acceptable permanent solutions as they can break with future upgrades/updates.

Is there a development customer liason I need to send all our reported bugs to so we have an idea of what the priority is on them and what the actual expected fix or feature will be done?  Thank you.

When will this be added?  It can't be that difficult and it's been almost 5 months since the request.  Thanks.

That makes no sense.  What is there to replicate?  I'm asking for the feature request.  If I can infuse our custom totals and balance, why can't you guys make it easier on us doing this by providing a template of some kind that we can insert our own custom totals/balance rows in the footer so we don't have to hack the HTML prior to rendering?

Please re-read the original request which is why I included it in my reply since we went off-topic a bit in all the replies above.

This was still an issue in 2010 as well.  Has this been fixed in 2011 R1?

Handy,

Has the dynamic grid feature been added to 2011 R1?

We currently use the AggregateFunction to turn on the totals row.  This is working nicely for totals.  However, we also need to add a "balance" row.  So we need to add a row below the "totals" row where we would add Balance information (see attached image).

The attached image is for a grid used for budgeting where allocated and used values are totalled.  But we also want to show the balance remaining, i.e., subtract what's used from allocated.  Is this feature available in the grid or will we have to infuse the row into the HTML ourselves similar to how we're padding the grid?  Thank you.

Hi Handy,

Per my original request, has this been added in 2011 R1?  Thanks.

Glenn,

Has this been added/fixed in 2011 R1?
