Hello,

From the error that you got, I think it has something to do with the XML file. You created a dataset from sql database to an xml file, and then bind it into WebGrid.

However, I couldn't replicate your issue on my end since your sample is not runable as well. Could you narrow down the sample and provide a simple working sample, so that I can try to replicate your issue and see what solution that I can give you?

Thank you.

Hello,

I will try your workaround, but however this issue will be fixed in the latest 2011 R1 installer.

Therefore, when the latest 2011 R1 suite has been released, you might want to try and use it.

Thank you.

Hello,

The latest 2011 R1 installer has not been released yet. Therefore, the one that you downloaded was still the previous 2010 R2 installer.

This issue will be fixed in 2011 R1 that is going to be released soon.

Thank you.

Hello,

I've tried the workaround from Balachander and has no luck either.

However, Intersoft template is going to fully support Visual Studio 2010 along with WCF RIA SP1 in this upcoming ClientUI release.

You might want to wait and hold for the release, since this issue will be addressed by the time the latest installer is delivered to users.

Thank you.

Hello,

I have created a sample that includes WebDesktop Window along with WebDialogBox. Set the control's IFrame to another page that has WebGrid and run the sample.

I can still run the grid well in the dialogbox without having to configure its width and height. Your issue doesn't occur on my end.

However, glad to hear the good news! It seems that you have found a way out to overcome your issue.

Thank you.

Hello,

When you export the data to Text format, the application used in is Notepad. By default, Notepad is used ANSI format for its encoding. ANSI format could not render chinese language, therefore when you try to save the data, it will ask you to change to Unicode encoding format in order to be able to save and view the data.

It seems that the exporting engine that we used in WebGrid doesn't support Chinese culture yet.  Possibly we will enhance it in the future.

Hello,

I would like to encourage you to use our WebFlyPostBackManager instead of UpdatePanel along with ScriptManager.

Please have a look at the following sample. I think this sample is quite similar like the scenario you want to achieve.

Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for providing a sample file for us to replicate your issue here.

I have tested your sample. Regarding the OnMouseOut issue, I will report it to the developer team to be investigated further. If it is found out as a bug, I will let you know the update.

About the offset bug, may I know when do you report and to whom were you reporting this issue?

I have noted this issue and I will deliver it together with the 1st one to the developer team.

Thank you.

Hello Jim,

Thank you for providing a sample code for us to replicate the issue. I have successfully replicated your error on my end. However, I couldn't assume this issue is confirmed as a bug yet.

I have reported your issue to the developer team to be investigated further.

I will let you know when I get the update from them.

Thank you.

Hello,

Have you tried our WebGrid samples that come with the suite when you install the package?

In the sample, we have RowCheckerColumn.aspx which is located in [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\Intersoft WebUI Studio 2011 R1\Samples\For ASP.NET\ISNet.WebUI.Samples\cs\WebGrid.

This sample is using IsRowChecker property and you can learn how to retrieve the checkbox from Server-side.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
