Hello,

No, that isn’t new value. This is required to identify whether you use SmartWebResources or not.

Regards,
Hans.
Hello,

A1: You could disable the SmartWebResources by setting the “EnableWebResources” to “Never” or add this line of code in your web.config file, under “appSettings” tag:
<add key="ISNet.WebUI.ISRes_Registered" value="false" />

And you should set the URL path for “ScriptDirectory”, “SharedScriptDirectory”, “WebDesktop ScriptDirectory” correctly as well.

A2: Yes, you couldn’t run / test your application in deployment server in trial mode.

A3: We will try to provide the latest version of WebDesktop .js files, if there is critical issues that make you need it. However, since you use WebGrid v6 and we have discontinued WebGrid v6, there will be no update / hotfix anymore. I am sorry.

Thank you.

Regards,
Hans.
Hello,

Intersoft Product can be deployed without SmartWebResources as well. Here the link how-to deploy your application without SmartWebResources:
http://intersoftpt.com/Support/WebUIStudio/Tutorial/Text/Deploy-ASPNET-Application-without-SmartWebResources/

Q: “Fix the bug that when the license check fails the web.config settings for the paths gets ignored.”
A: Could you provide more detail information regarding this error? For example: the screenshot about the error.

Q: “Provide a way to use the trial version without a full trial installation. When no license is configured, it should behave the same way as with the trial license. The nagging popup div is ok, but it should work otherwise nicely.”
A: I am sorry Sir. That is the default system / mechanism, we should use RunTime License Key to run the application in Deployment Server.

Q: “The WebGrid still uses WebAnimation.js and WebMenu.js from WebDesktop. How would we later update the WebDesktop files if we only buy a WebGrid license? Can't you remove this dependency?”
A: I am afraid we can’t remove this dependency. And yes, basically you can’t the latest version for WebDesktop file.
However, if there is an issue that corresponding with WebDesktop files and interfering your application, please let us know.
We will try to investigate what is the solution for your issue.

Thank you.

Regards,
Hans.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

I try to add and set CellClickAction property to "CellSelect" & EditOnClick property to "true", but unfortunately I still don’t get any issue.

By default, while edit mode, if you move/change the focus to another row, WebGrid will automatically accept the changes.

If you don’t mind, could you provide me more detail about your current scenario?
Perhaps the simple runnable sample that similar with your current scenario, so I can help you to find the right answers for you.

Thank you.

Regards,
Hans.

Hello,

Thank you for your question regarding WebGrid control.

Q: “I use onAfterExitEditMode but if i press tab botton the cursor goes to the first editable cell set from the previous value choose in dropdownlist and not in the new.”
A: By default, in edit phase in the existing row, if you press tab key until the last column, it will go down to the next row in first column.
If you are in add new row phase, if you press tab key until the last column, it will add the row automatically.
That is the WebGrid’s default behavior.

Please forgive me for lack of understanding about the reported problem and please let me know your response.

Thank you.

Regards,
Hans.

Hello,

I apologize for any inconvenience this problem may have caused you.

I tried run on of WebGrid Samples, BatchUpdate_AllowReview.aspx page, then I tried to modify two rows, but unfortunately it works fine on my end.
I attached the video about how I run the sample.

Would you mind to provide me more detail about your current scenario?
Perhaps the step by step how can I replicate your issue on my end or the simple runnable sample that replicate your issue.

Thank you.

Hans.

Hello,

It seems you are not using the latest WebGrid build version. Your current WebGrid build version is 8.0.7200.250 and the latest build version is 8.0.7200.254.

And since you are using HTML5 doctype in your page, please try to set the “RenderingMode” property to “HTML5”.

For further information about WebGrid version history, please follow this link below:

Thank you.

Hans.

Hello,

Thank you very much for your feedback, I will submit this information to the developer team.

Regards,
Hans.

Hello,

I apologize for any inconvenience this problem may have caused you.

It seems you use HTML5 doctype in your WebGrid, if you want to use WebGrid v8 in HTML5 doctype.
Please try to set “RenderingMode” property in WebGrid to “HTML5”.

Hope this helps.
