Freeze WebTab from IFrame content

Hello,

Thank you for the question.

I create a sample that shows how to access and get value from an input (HTML control) outside WebTab & from other tab.

I create a WebTab page (MainPage_WebTab.aspx), and then I add two tabs that use IFrame content.

The first IFrame page (ContentPage1.aspx) contains two buttons (HTML control).
The first button is to get input control from outside WebTab. The second button is to get input control value from other tab.

The second IFrame page (ContentPage2.aspx) contains input (HTML control).

Please kindly have review on the sample to see the result.

Hello,

I tried to review your project my end, but unfortunately, I can’t run your project properly.
So I tried to create a simple WebDialogBox page with a TextBox and a Button to show the WebDialogBox.
The result is I can’t type anything in the textbox while the dialog box is opened.

Could you help me to provide more information regarding this issue?
How to reproduce this issue on my end? Or what is your result expection?

Please kindly ensure that you have updated the WebDesktop assembly file in your current project’s bin folder as well.

Checked row becomes unchecked on webgrid sort/filter

Hello,

WebGrid have property, named “PersistRowChecker”. You could set found this property under < LayoutSettings> tag.

Specifies whether the grid should persist the rows' RowChecker state during OnTheFly postback and full postback.

Set the PersistRowChecker property value to “true”.

Sorry for any inconvenience this problem may have caused you.

WebGrid development team has managed to resolve the reported problem. A nightly build (pre-release hotfix) has been available and can be downloaded from following:

WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 nightly build, https://onedrive.live.com/download?resid=A29317908CEA783A%21403

After download the hotfix, carefully follow the step by step explained in https://www.intersoftpt.com/Support/WebUIStudio/Tutorial/Text/Apply-ASPNET-product-hotfix-manually/.

If the problem still persist, please feel free to let us know.

Note: the uploaded assemblies are nightly build and was not tested for regression. We hope you can collaborate and test it in your projects.

VirtualLoad with LargeData

Hello,

Thank you for the question.

If you want to use VirtualLoad with group row paging, you should set the “EnableGroupRowPaging” property to “True” and set the “GroupRowPageSize” value as well.
You could find those properties under “ClientBindingSettings” tag.

For further information regarding VirtualLoad and group row paging, please kindly have review on WebGrid’s documentation in “Virtual Load” section.

Is it possible to implement a custom filter control on a column

Hello,

In WebGrid Solution Samples, there is page, “ColumnAction.aspx” page, which show custom filter in WebGrid.
You also could see WebGrid’s documentation regarding custom filter in “Walkthrough Topics” section, “Applying custom filtering in WebGrid”.

Regarding custom sorting, you could see in WebGrid’s documentation as well. (Walkthrough: Applying custom sorting in WebGrid).

Please kindly have review on the sample page and documentation.
You could modify the code from WebGrid sample page with your own custom code.
