Drag drop no working in new version of webtree.

Hi,

I used latest version of Webtree.(attached screenshot).

Dragdrop was working fine in previous version but when I refrenced new version of webtree then drag drop functionality broken.

Did some R&D then found bellow thing:

When I added root tag and then insert child nodes then DragDrop functionality works fine with new version of dll. But Requirement is that I don't want to add child node(all node would in parent, there no parent of any node ) then drag drop functionality gives error of javascript and does not work.

Attached the explation with code and issue both in png file.

Please do the needfull ASAP.

Switch from TreeView to WebTreeView

Hello,

The attached sample includes code that binds a Treeview to a relational database. This code first creates an xml from the data and then populates Treeview from the xml. The Northwind.mdf database is used for this sample.

Could you please help to modify this code to make it work with WebTreeVIew?

I have seen a couple of examples binding WebTreeview to a databse on this forum, but I am interested in the particular code used in the sample I have provided.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Text is getting half cut on IE 10 and IE 11 compatibility mode

Hi,

Thanks, I recived your sample for webtree(attached).

Issue 1: In IE 11 compatibility and IE 10 text is getting half cut( screenshot attached).

Issue 2: How to remove note text not clickable, currently it's clickable and when i click on that it's hide( note text is hide).

Please give solution ASAP.

Node Color change Issue in Drag n Drop

My application requires nodes in different colors. But tree nodes couldn't keep its asigned color when dragging node moves over on them. All the nodes between source and destination node become in black color, no matter what the color they had.

I have modified a page from webtreeview sample application and attached it.

Step to recreate the issue.

1. select 'WebGrid.Net3.5' node

2. Move it to Drag on 'WebDesktop.Net'

You will see some of Nodes, between drag source and destination nodes, lost their branded color what they had before.

Please let me know how to keep nodes color unchanged while dragging a node.

Automatic positioning of Scrollbar when a node searched

I have a treeview having more than 2000 nodes, so when I search a node(that resides quite below in treeview or all the nodes expanded), using Find functionality, It become selected but didn't come up to treeview visible area. I mean, you have to manually scroll down up to found node.

Is there a way to bring the searched node up or can set the scroll bar position infront of searched node.

Values not updating if set FlyPostBack to true

My application needs to do server side processing on treeview selected index change, and displays selected node text and enabled status, on the textbox and radiobuttons.

I made FlyPostBack settings to true(so that drag and drop easy), though FlyPostBack is causing postback but not updating the selected node text and enable on the textbox and radiobuttons.

How to get rid of this problem. Please suggest.

I need to change the color of Intersoft treeview nodes at runtime base of certain condition.

I tried to attach my css class on WebTreeView1_InitializeNode as below but it is not working.

WebTreeView Trial Version

Hi,

We need to purchase draggable treeview for Asp.net. Our requirements is quite matching with Webtreeview so we need to evoluate it first. We downloaded it but not able to install it. It looks that downlodable setup is corrupt and throwing error when installing.

Please provide a way to use it.

IE11 problems after deploying

Hi I have an app using the newest version of all WebUI for ASP.Net. Everyting works fine on my development machine in all browser types (IE11, Chrome, FireFox).
So I deployed the whole thing to a IIS v. 7.5 running on Windows Server 2008. I followed the guidlines when not using smart web resources as I copy all the CommonLibray stuff to the server and creata Virtal Directory referring it.
After this all works grate when browsing from Chrom and FireFox. BUT IE11 is not working properly. I pass the login screen but after that I get strange painted tree-view, that can not be expanded nor selected from. Also notice the strange icons in front of each item instead of the '+' symbol. The WebCombo shown can not be selected from either. Both the WebCombo and the WebTreeView are dead for the mouse. See screenshots attached one from functioning Chrome browsing and the other one from the IE11. And yes I'm running withOUT compatibilty mode.

Also the web-panes can not be resized.

What can be the problem here?
