Hello,

As far I know, this is a known issue. However, this is not a bug in our side, but a browser limitation issue. This browser issue has been fixed in IE9.

yes i tried it ,when the page is offline and zoomed then also same issue occurs

Hi Soniya,

I can replicate your second issue when the page is zoomed. But that does not happen if I run a sample of our Webcombo Samples (offline). Did you try it? Probably, this issue occurs in our lives samples because there are some styles that clash or because of problem frames from our website that causes wecombo not displayed properly.

I got why you can't replicate the second issue (if the page is zoomed then only you will replicate the issue ).My issue was----

2.If you see the file i have attached , in IE 8 ,initially i am able to see dropdown button but once i click it,it disappears ...how can i avoid the same...

To replicate the issue first zoom the page littele bit and then click on dropdown button

Hi Soniya,

I can replicate this issue, and now please try to set height and width the resultbox of webcombo become one (1) which in my sample I have set it to 0. You can set it in parameter of the ResultBox.Show(left, top, width, height) method.
I cannot replicate this issue. I tried to run the same sample with you in IE8 and Istill able to see the dropdown button after I click it.

I have 2 questions....

1.Regarding the WebComboShowingDialog.zip which you have sent , In IE 8 it works.... but in mozilla i am still able to see resultbox ...why is so...how can i hide it in mozilla

Hi Soniya,

I tried to modified my sample that i have given to you. To open a dialog box on event click of drop down button, i use OnShowDropDown event. And i use ResultBox.Show method to hide the resultbox. Please check my sample and let me know if it's not as you mean. Hope this helps.

You have sent me a sample of opening dialogbox in OnAfterItemSelected event whereas i want to open the dialog box on press of dropdown button.How can i do the same. Also I don't want dropdownlist to appear i just want dialog box on press of dropdown button ...Is that possible.... How....

Hi Soniya,

Do you mean is you want to change the image of the picture webcombo dropdown?
If yes, you can do it by changing some properties such as ImagesDirectory, SearchIconMode, SearchImage. You can find them under LayoutSettings Property.

But if that you mean is you want to insert a button into webcombo, it's cannot be done. Because of our webcombo do not provide that feature for now.

Can we provide any other button inside webcombo besides dropdown button as shown in the attachment.

On click of that another button i want to show a dialog box .Can you please provide sample of it.
