Hi Bunmi,

We don't instantiate the XML parser with a specific version. So it will be the browser that automatically decide it. In this case, the browser usually picks the latest version.

Thanks for the response. I guess I didn't frame my question properly.

We're asking if Webgrid 6 or 7 uses the latest XMLHTTP and XML parser on the client’s side if user has MSXML3 and MSXML6 installed on his workstation.

Hi Bunmi,

WebGrid 6 still supports IE6 for the XMLHTTPRequest so it should be working fine. Beside that, we don't required specific version of XMLHTTPRequest to run our WebGrid. However, if you found any issue regarding this, please let me know. Thank you.

We've been using the webgrid (v6.0) for a year or two (with IE 6 clients). We're wondering what version of XMLHTTPRequest object does the grid support?
