Andi,

I'm curious as to whether this has been fixed. We were able to develop a workaround but it wasn't a trivial issue and, of course, we'd like to be able to use the charts as intended and as your documentation suggests we can. Do you anticipate that this will be resolved?

Andi,

Has this issue been resolved? I downloaded your zip file from above and it did not work in IE7. We're having the exact same problem that others are having. Is there a workaround that actually works?

Hi John,

Yes, that is happened because we did not set the Height of the WebGrid and it is not meant to be used in this behavior("Not setting the height of WebGrid"). However, everything else looks fine when I tried to set the Height of WebGrid in pixel (I am using XHTML page).

I also attached you my sample file in this scenario which runs well with the above descriptions. I hope it helps. Thank you.

I am using Framework 3.5 in VS 2008 with IE 7. The Grid version is .402. I updated the bin directory of the samples direcory to use the latest versions. If I keep the width and remove the height paramater using the XHTML DocType, I see the grid but when I click on the Chart button, the top of the chart is displayed at the bottom of the grid (I can see both) and the browser is frozen. I have to kill the process.

Hi,

I am trying to use the PivotChart with my webGrid (latest version (.402)) and if I use the XHTML doctype, the charts don't work. Appears that Charts are not XHTML aware. Take the VB sample ChartMode_AutoResize.aspxe and change the Masetr page to DefaultMasterXHTML, run the sample. When using the Height of 100% is appears to make the chart (grid also) 100 pixels not 100%. There are many other problems with the display. Is the Charts going to be capable of using the XHTML docType soon? It useless for me now.

I have other problems with the Charts but that's another question...
