Have you try to use the latest Intersoft Framework and WebGrid assembly version?

In WebGrid Solution Samples, there is WebGrid sample that show how-to enable / how the exporting feature works. The page (file) named “EnableExporting.aspx”.

Please kindly have review on the WebGrid Samples, EnableExporting.aspx and please let me know whether you get the same issue or not.
(start > All Programs > Intersoft WebUI Studio 2013 R1 > WebUI Studio for ASP.NET > WebGrid 8 > C# Samples. The physical location of the file is: "%ProgramFiles%\Intersoft Solutions\Intersoft WebUI Studio 2013 R1\ Samples\For ASP.NET\ISNet.WebUI.Samples\cs\WebGrid \EnableExporting.aspx".)

If you don’t get any error message or issue with the EnableExporting page, please kindly help me to modify the page and provide the modified sample to me. So I can help you to investigate the issue further more.

We get the same error on our localhost.

We have not taken the project to an enterprise server yet.

Please advise.

Here are the details:

WebGrid 8.

.Net Framework 4.5

Visual Studio 2012.

I apologize for any inconvenience this problem may have caused you.

Do you have the same error / issue both in Development Environment and Deployment Server, after upgrading your WebGrid assembly?
Or you just get the issue in your Deployment Server? If yes, please ensure you use the same project file and assembly file both in Development Environment and Deployment Server.

Do you use SmartWebResourses in your project or not?
Could you inform me what is web browser that you use to run the WebGrid?

Selecting the webgrid export button causes a failure in javascript. All other features work when app runs as localhost and deployed to application server.

The export feature for the previous version of webgrid worked with no issues for excel, pdf, etc.

There is no specific codebehind for these export features as it uses the builtin functionality.

This was an upgrade where old version of webgrid assemblies were replaced with new assemblies. The webgrid worked with minor adjustments but export feature does not.

The popup menu contains: Microsoft JScript runtime error: 'WebContextMenu' is undefined
