Due to my experience, I never have problems of using my WebGrid 6 code with WebGrid 7 dll file. So far, we never had any complaints from customer (about backward compatibility) that migrates from WebGrid 6 to WebGrid 7 as well.

I also have confirmed this statement with WebGrid development team. Should you find any issue about backward compatibility, please let us know.

I understand that WebGrid 7 is better then WebGrid 6 but question is if Grid 7 is fully backward compatible. Do you have any complains from Customers that migration to Grid 7 cause some compatibility issues?

Hi Nick,

There should be no problem when you migrate to WebGrid 7, since the newest version has lot of feature that you won't be find at WebGrid 6 including better performance, previous fixing, and also moreover new great feature you will find.
