The sample you posted is exactly what I'm doint at the moment. The problem is that when the grid already has data and I'm setting setting the Visible property = true, the column headers not correct

But it is strange because in a simple sample it works (I just tried ...) ... I will try to understand where the issue is

I have a screen where my users could choose to display summary or full informations for the record in the grid.

So I have a standard ASP.Net button to show hide the relevant columns in the grid. What I'm doing is to change the Visible property of the columns.

The problem is that after that, the header of the grid are lost (I only have the header of the first column spanning over all the column) .

How could I do this ? As alternative, is it possible to do it from the javascript ?
