Currently, the function "Paste Multiple Rows from Clipboard" could only be called internally. A feature request has been created in order to allow the function could be access publicly.

The WebGrid context menu is bind to the WebGrid row, so it will not be possible to show the WebGrid context menu when WebGrid does not have any row.

Is there any way to access the “Paste Multiple Rows from Clipboard” feature from javascript outside of the row context menu? We want users to be able to paste multiple rows at a single time into an empty grid. However, if the grid is empty and there are no rows, there is no way to access the “Paste Multiple Rows from Clipboard” command.

Is there a way to perform this function from a button outside the grid? Alternatively, is there a way to show the row context menu even when there are no rows?
