Sorry for my mistake. I wasn't aware the scenario that you explain me before. Here's the sample for self referencing table. It's almost the same as WebtreeView but it's easier to do with WebGrid. I attach the sample here. Please take a look in my sample and please let me know if there's anything wrong with this sample. Hope this helps.

Hi Bernard,

We are not using Webtreeview in the LHS.

We are using self reference webgrid in LHS and normal webgrid in RHS.

Because in the sample you are using webtreeview.Please use self reference webgrid.

Hi Madhavan,

I tried to replicate your issue about hourglass pointer. Unfortunately, the pointer is changed to busy pointer when hover the WebGrid when it's busy. However, I've fixed my sample. In my sample, I put selectable value to false when webgrid is busy. Could you look for my sample and please tell me if there's anything wrong in my sample?

Hi Bernard,

Problem is even though with the flag we are able to select the other item while refreshing the grid.We have set InprogressUIBehaviour="ChangeCursorToHourGlass".

It is not displaying the hour glass also while refreshing the grid.How do we handle this?

Our Left hand side grid is Self Reference Webgrid.Right Hand side grid is normal details webgrid.

For this matter, I have made you a simple sample. Actually, we can detect the ready state of WebGrid by using OnAfterResponseProcess on WebGrid. After WebGrid do RefreshAll() function, we can send a parameter so WebTreeView will process the user input to WebGrid. I have attach my sample here. Could you look for my sample and please let me know if this sample doesn't fulfill your requirement? Look forward to hear any feedback so I can help you further.

Hi Team,

We are having a inbox type of application.Where Left hand side shows items as a treeview which is a self reference grid.

Right hand side is a normal grid which shows the details.

On click of Left hand side item it will refresh the right hand side data and structure(using RefreshAll() method of webgrid). Currently what is happening is when we click on an item it called the Refreshall method,but we were able to select the other line item in Treeview which gives the wrong information to the user.

Can we avoid this behaviour by restricting the user to not able to select the next line item till the selected line item finishes the refreshing the data and structure.

Please advice.
