All rights reserved.</copyright><ttl>60</ttl><item><title>OnCustomFilter server-side event</title><link>http://www.intersoftsolutions.com/Community/WebGrid/OnCustomFilter-server-side-event/</link><pubDate>Wed, 26 Jul 2017 18:16:19 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>John.Bonin@dot.gov</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;I'm using the CustomFilter event as described&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="http://www.intersoftsolutions.com/Support/WebGrid/KB/Create-a-custom-filter-on-WebGrid/" target="_blank" style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;. &amp;nbsp;Now if the grid included 10 columns do I have to create a custom filter for every column? &amp;nbsp;For example, lets say I have a field called Resturant Type and I want to find all American resturants, I can rely on the built in filtering capability within the grid, but as soon as I want to get all American resturants in Berlin or London, It will only return all types in Berlin or London, it ignores the American filter I added. &amp;nbsp;If you look at the&amp;nbsp;WebGridFilterCollection, you will see all Filters present, but only the AdvancedFilterExpression is used to filter the grid. &amp;nbsp;Is there anyway to have it use all filters, without having to completely rewrite the grid filtering capability?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Please let me know and if this is possible, an example would be very helpful..&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
