And one more -> Its a very teadious process to attach more than one file in FF. Sometimes even though it shows uploaded, it wont work. Sometimes i may have to repeat the uploading to 2 or 3 times. But works fine in IE7

Can you inform the steps to reproduce the issue? I have tried to attach several files in FF, so far it works fine. Also, please inform what type of files you uploaded. What version of FF are you using?

Hi James

As i said it is difficult to reproduce. However now am working on it to reproduce it. And will attach the sample as soon as am done. However i dont think the invisible option does make any side effect. Coz after i put the display off for the textbox, I checked different scenarios and it seems to be working quite well for my scenarios. And as we are not turning the visiblity off at server side, the text object is always accessible. And as you see, for a normal user to see the rectangle starting from the webgrid and flowing over the body is unacceptable and i think at least for the style purpose(the rectangle is already there in the sample) the textbox visiblity should be turned off at client side.

Yes, I'm aware about the _moz input textbox. It appears to be used in the editing mode, which is internally used by the WebGrid. I also think hiding it would cause certain error in your web pages, which is not recommended.

It'll be great if you can reproduce the issue consistently in a simple webform, and attach it here. I'll help to look at your issue. Thanks.

Hi James->

Am afraid i cant reproduce. This is because, even i cant predict the situation. I have got a webpage, where webgrid controls are added dynamically. Width, positon(Right or Left) all are specified at runtime. So of the toal 2/10 chance is there.

However to reproduce the issue yoy need firebug. Run the sample i attached and inside firebug move to the div with id -> dvCH_WG1 and expand it. There you could see a textbox with id WG1_Moz. select it and on the right pane turnoff the attribute, position:absolute then you could see the textbox. See my first screenshot where am clicking inside the webgrid and a dotted line appears, which extends beyond the body of the page(In fact a dotted rectangle, due to the textbox i said). Hope this helps.

Am attaching a sample right here. Click on the webgrid u could see a dotted line surrounding it. And the line moves through other table or td or whatever. The reason is that when addnew or delete is enabled in a webgrid, a textbox appears and textbox has absolute position attribute added to it. See both the screenshots. I have put firebug console in the screenshot so that you could easily see which textbox is causing the problem. On the second screenshot, i removed position:absolute attribute and the textbox moves to the bottom of the webgrid. If i put display:none option for the element style. It works fine. In fact i tried to loop through javascript to identify controls of type text and id ending with the name webgridname_Moz and put display:none. And i checked adding rows to grid and it works fine. So i dont understand the purpose of a visible textbox there. U can check the presence of this line in any of your live samples with editing enabled and could use firebug to locate the same textbox.
