Yudi was able to log on to my machine and get it working. I believe Yudi removed the items from the References and Bin directory and re-added them in. I'm not sure why or exactly how this worked, as I believe I tried the same thing (obviously unsuccessfully). The good news is that now it is working and I don't have any issues.

This is still a problem. It works fine for new projects but for existing projects that was initially using version 3.0.7200.308 it is still looking for the old assembly instead of the 3.0.7200.310 assembly.

Any ideas or do I have to recreate the entire project?

The link http://www.intersoftpt.com/ApplyHotfix doesn't appear to be valid anymore.

The assemblies tags appear to be ok in the Web Config file. Is there a way for me to reapply the hot fix?

Hello Jason,

For additional information, please ensure in your Web.config, there is no WebDesktop assemblies that referred into your GAC.

e.g in your web.config <assemblies> tag should be only reffered the assemblies below.

   <add assembly="ISNet.WebUI, Version=3.0.5000.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B1F2A8511635667A" />
   <add assembly="ISNet, Version=3.0.5000.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B1F2A8511635667A" />
   <add assembly="ISNet.WebUI.Silverlight, Version=3.0.5000.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B1F2A8511635667A" />
   <add assembly="ISNet.ActiveReports.Exporting, Version=5.0.7200.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B1F2A8511635667A"/>

So, If there is WebDesktop, please remove it.
The error message shows that WebDesktop could not be found in your GAC.

If you download the hotfix manually, please ensure that you have followed the step-by-step in following link, http://www.intersoftpt.com/Build/ApplyHotfix, carefully to apply the hotfix manually.

If you get the hotfix by using Intersoft Update Manager, please ensure that you have applied the hotfix to your project’s bin folder as well.

Please let us know whether this helps or not.

I downloaded the upgrade for WebDesktop from 3.0.7200.308 to 3.0.7200.3100 now I get the following error in my project:

ASP.NET runtime error: Could not load file or assembly 'ISNet.WebUI.WebDesktop, Version=3.0.7200.308, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b1f2a8511635667a' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

I'm not sure how to update this. I'm using Visual Studio 2008.
