Hello,

Based on your error, it seems you were missing some resources files. Can I know what product that you used? Also, Did you use SmartWebResources in your project?

If yes, please ensure that ISNet.dll, ISNet.WebUI.dll, ISNet.WebUI.Resources.dll. 'IS is undefined' only occurs when there is no our framework assembly in your project bin folder. 'InitWebPaneManager' is null or undefined only occurs when there is no our WebDesktop assemblies in your project bin folder.

Vice versa, if you don't use that, please ensure that your CommonLibrary path that used to load scripts and images are correct.

I have the same problem but on my development machine. I just took over a project that uses several Intersoft controls. I get the error:

SCRIPT5007: The value of the property 'InitWebPaneManager' is null or undefined, not a Function object
Default.aspx, line 423 character 1

SCRIPT5007: The value of the property 'OnWebPMRSC' is null or undefined, not a Function object
Default.aspx, line 422 character 1

SCRIPT5009: 'IS' is undefined
Default.aspx, line 439 character 1

SCRIPT5007: The value of the property 'OnWebPMRSC' is null or undefined, not a Function object
Default.aspx, line 422 character 1

As well as several others when trying to run my app.

It actually looks like some script is not getting written when the page is rendered on the client. I have tried it using Crome, I.E. 9 and FireFox all with the same error.

As I said, I just took over the project so I had to unregister the licenses on the former developers machine and then reregistered them on my own after tech support said they had me setup.

Any help in this scenario?

In fact, we could not analyze the issue only based on the error. If you have followed all configuration settings that needed when deploy your project, it should be no issue. At least, please send us your web.config like Dicky suggested you before.

I've got all the DLL's in my bin directory and I've done the Deployment Manager for the Run Time licenses with no changes.

When a project created in Windows server 2008 or Vista which use IIS 7, you will need to customize some settings. Please following our KB at this link. Please ensure you are insert the correct RunTimeLicense key via deployment manager when you wanted to deploy your project. Hope this information helps.

In your case are you registered smart webresources? Could you send your web.config to me?

NOTE : Please change your Runtime License Key with xxxxxxx to avoid your runtime license key being used with other person.

I'm experiencing the same issue on my deployment. I have all of the DLL's you mentioned above in the project bin folder, I've run the deployment manager to setup the license keys in the web.config, I've verified that the web.config also contains the proper defitions for using SmartWeb resources. I've also copied the CommonLibrary folder on my production machine and created a "Virtual Directory" for the site called CommonLibrary which appears along the with other folders on my project. Am I missing something else? According to the documentation this is all I need to do for a project with SmartWeb resources. My deplyment server is Windows Server 2008

Hi Duane,

Please check on your project bin folder, are there ISNet.dll, ISNet.WebUI.dll, ISNet.WebUI.WebResources.dll, and ISNet.WebUI.[ISProductsThatYouUsed].WebResources.dll? If not, please add those assemblies. The explanation is, on your development machine you must install our suite which mean ISNet.dll, and ISNet.WebUI.dll are registered on GAC (C:\Windows\assembly). While on Deployment machine you don't need to install our suite, that's why you need to copy those assemblies on your bin folder.

Intersoft controls work great on my development box, but when I deploy to our Dev server for testing, I get Javascript errors. It's pretty much the same error on all my pages.

Example:

I get Javascript errors saying "Object expected" on these two Intersoft generated lines in my opening page:

1) <script>InitWebPaneManager("ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_WebPaneManager1");</script>

2) ISControl_InitializeAtlas("ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_WebPaneManager1");

Here is how it is defined in my page:
