Yes, that's exactly the bug from the browser IE6. Unfortunately, they only fixed in IE7.

Handy,

Just using the web combo and below that placed a dropdown control. When result box opens it is not overlapping dropdown instead dropdown is overlapping the combo.

Is there any alternate solution for this problem? Any IE6 update will resolve this issue?

Hello Shanta,

Could you let me know how you replicated this issue? Your page structure details should help us in investigating your issue. As I remembered, there are some bugs at IE6 regarding dropdown issues.

e.g
asp.net Dropdownlist. In some scenario, this control would override our control. Based on screenshot, I saw that the normal DropDownlist issue is overlapping our control.

So, As i explained, this is bug from IE6 browser itself and has fixed at IE7 browser. Unfortunately, when it comes to browser bugs, there is nothing much we can do, except the browser has fixed itself.

we are using webcombo4 in page and below that we are using normal drop down. on click of search webcombo resultbox is going back of the dropdown list. here is the screen shot attached for the same.

any idea what settings i need to do make to work in IE 6. this works fine in IE 7 and firefox.
