Different behavior in development environment and productive system (IIS 6.0)

Ideally, what has been developed in development environment should have same behavior in deployment environment.

This error is quite odd and we have not received such reports so far. We’ve been tried to reproduce the problem in our local test by creating a page that has structure based on your information and screenshots, but our efforts were not successful. The behavior both on development and deployment environment are similar.

We are willing to advise you further but in order to do so we would need you to elaborate on your specific scenario and possibly give us a step-by-step guide or a project containing a simple sample that replicates the issue that we can use to observe the problematic behavior.

On my Main-Page (Main.aspx), i have located WebDialogbox (Content-Mode: IFrame). On ClientSideEvent shows the WebDialogbox and load Start.aspx as content.

On my Development Environment i can click on DropDownButton and the Resultbox with items is showing. Please look on picture "Development Environment.png".

On my productive system (Server 2003 R2 SP2, IIS 6.0), i have following behavoir:

On DropDownClick, an empty Resultbox is open (see picture "Click [1].png")
Postback is executed (see picture "Postback [2].png")
WebDialogbox Content is also load Main.aspx

Why? The property "AllowAutoPostback" is set to false!
