Enable Editing in excel export

We use 2009 and 2013 grid. when grid data is exported to excel and 'Enable Editing' option in excel is clicked in IE, converts the result to an unsuable html data.works fine in chrome.

Excel-like Save for WebGrid

Hi,

Sorry if this page already exists, but I have searched the Community pages for similar threads and couldn't find. So, I have started new.

I have a webgrid which I'ld like to auto save the changes just like Excel. 'Accept All changes' is great but I'ld like this better.

Also, the Data Source for the grid is a SQL Data Source for which there are no server-side codes for initializing the source or updations to DB. Now, what I want is like the when the WebTab switches back(you can say, on Page Loading), the Grid refreshes (as the other tabs might change the basic criteria in the DB) without clicking on 'Refresh' button. Is this possible?

webui controls does not support "export excel" while in ClientBinding,is not it????

how to solve the "export excel" problem in ClientBinding?????

when my site is deployed,I can not use "export excel"(i can use before deploy)~~~

error message:"Printer does not support Letter papersize. Please use PaperKind. Custom in your PageSettings or specify a papersize supported by the current printer"

Notice: I have set webgrid 的PrepareExportExecute：
e.ReportObject.Document.Printer.PrinterName = "";

it is very urgent,please help me !

Colored Excel Export

Hello,

i hae build up an Webgrid. In this Grid are colored Rows and Cells. Now I have export this Table as Excel-File. But in this Export-File are the Cells and Rows not Colored. Is this colored export-feature available in this Webgrid?

Problems when exporting to Excel

We have 2 problems when exporting data to Excel.

One of the columns in grid has text in format 60.60, but when data is exported to excel the text in cell is shown as 60.600.000 and the real value in cell is 6060000.
Another column in grid has multiline text in it. Foreach newline character in the text, in Excel another row is created with all the columns empty except the column that is related to grid column.

It seems that exporting to Excel ignores DataType property of both WebGridColumn and DataTable.

We are using latest WebUI Studio 2009, build 303.

How can this be solved and is there a way to tell Excel not to change values or type of column / cell?
